Shizuoka City Children's Creative Town Ma·A·Ru

Shizuoka City Children's Creative Town Ma·a·ru is a facility designed to foster children's independence and creativity through work and hands-on crafting experiences, with the goal of nurturing the next generation of leaders for the region's industries.

The Children’s Bazaar on the third floor is a “children’s town” where kids can create products in shops they’ve designed, sell them, and enjoy shopping with the money they earn (play money), all while experiencing how society and the economy work. Meanwhile, the Children’s Factory on the fourth floor features various rooms—including the Exciting Atelier, Digital Workshop, Cooking Studio, and All-Purpose Hall—where children can participate in a variety of hands-on making and work experience workshops (advance registration required).
