The Cha-Gori Project Kicks Off Again This Year!

"Chagori" refers to shaved ice made with Shizuoka tea.

This year, 65 establishments—including tea wholesalers and cafes—are participating,

and you can enjoy Chagori at 28 locations in Shizuoka City.


The types of tea used include matcha, sencha, and Japanese black tea, among others.

These photogenic and unique Chagoori creations, which incorporate ingredients and culinary trends unique to Shizuoka,

have become a summer tradition in Shizuoka.
