Enjoy the history of Sunpu Castle by “seeing, walking, and experiencing” it! The “Sunpu Castle Summer Festival,” taking place on Saturday, September 12, and Sunday, September 13, at Sunpu Castle Park, will feature the “Sunpu Sightseeing Information Center.” The highlight is the “Sunpu Castle AR Experience,” which offers a preview of the full-scale service set to launch in fiscal year 2027.Using your smartphone, you can view CG recreations of Sunpu Castle within Sunpu Castle Park and compare the castle as it is today with how it looked in the past to truly experience its history. Additionally, a stamp rally will be held, taking you to various spots both inside and outside the park. Collect stamps from all four locations to receive an original souvenir! Participation is free, no registration is required, and everyone is welcome to join in the fun.Why not rediscover the charm of Sunpu Castle alongside the summer festival? What is the Sunpu Castle Summer Festival?

This summer festival is organized by the Sunpu Castle Summer Festival Executive Committee (Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Shizuoka Shimbun, and Shizuoka Broadcasting System). Under the theme “A Summer Festival Created Together with Young People,” where businesses and students collaborate to liven up the event, you can enjoy live music, a variety of content in collaboration with SBS TV and SBS Radio, and numerous food and drink booths.
