The “Street Performance World Cup in Shizuoka” is one of Shizuoka’s premier events, where various locations throughout the city—including Sunpu Castle Park—become stages. Artists from Japan and abroad, each with their own unique style, put on performances full of energy and humor, featuring acts such as juggling and acrobatics.More than 1 million people visit during the event, and one of its charms is encountering performances in unexpected places as you stroll through the city. It’s enjoyable for everyone, from children to adults, across all generations. These are four special days when the streets of Shizuoka in the fall are filled with surprises and smiles.
