Shimizu-en

"Blends are born from a rich imagination."

Shimizu-en’s teas are primarily sourced from Motoyama, located upstream of the Abe River, and Kawane, located upstream of the Oi River—the two major tea-producing regions of Shizuoka. The tea is cultivated thanks to the climatic conditions along the riverbanks, the rich soil, and the dedication of our farmers. Blending is the process of combining the unique characteristics of green teas from each region to create a harmonious and delicious tea. You could say that blending is an irreplaceable encounter.
