Shimizu Nishizato Onsen "Yamase-mi no Yu"

The Nishizato Onsen Bathhouse "Yamase-mi no Yu" is a publicly operated day-trip hot spring located in the northern part of Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, within the Yasuragi no Mori area of Shimizu Forest Park. It features three open-air baths for men and three for women, where you can enjoy unique baths infused with bamboo charcoal and bamboo vinegar.

We also offer meals and beverages made with local ingredients. Local specialties such as tea, bamboo shoots, and mandarin oranges are available. We look forward to welcoming you.

[Public Transportation]
Take the bus bound for Tannuma Shako-mae (via Ohira) from either JR Shimizu Station or Okitsu Station. Transfer to the bus bound for Ohira at Tannuma Shako, and get off at the Nishisato Onsen-mae or Teraojima bus stop. The bus ride takes approximately 55 minutes from Shimizu Station.
