Yamabushi (Hiking Trail)

The summit of Mt. Yamabushi, the highest peak in the Abe-oku region, stands at an elevation of 2,000 meters. It offers spectacular views not only of the Southern Alps but also of Mount Fuji. The area is also home to a natural habitat of willowherb, and every year around mid-August, many hikers visit to see the flowers in full bloom.
