Shizuoka Prefectural Forest is an outdoor recreation facility developed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the prefecture’s establishment. It spans approximately 1,000 hectares along a ridge in the Ikawa and Umegashima districts of northern Shizuoka City.Covered in beautiful temperate forests alongside the Kan'yō-mine, Sasayama, and Yamabushi mountains, this scenic area offers views of Lake Ikawa and the Southern Alps and has been designated as the Oku-Oi Prefectural Natural Park. Facilities such as log cabins are located about 9 km from Fujimi Pass, nestled in the embrace of rich, natural surroundings.Why not come and relax with your family or friends in a forest rich with negative ions? Enjoy a holiday spent in nature to the fullest, whether hiking, trying out the adventure course, or simply soaking in the surroundings.

There are two types of log cabins: seven with lofts and eight single-story units. Each kitchen is fully equipped with a sink, gas stove, and a unit bath. Gas heaters and electric blankets are also provided to ensure a comfortable stay.

The lodge features 6 rooms for 4 people and 2 rooms for 6 people, accommodating a total of 36 guests. Each room has beds, and the first floor features a shared lounge and bath. You can also enjoy barbecues at the on-site cooking pavilion and outdoor fire pit. The facility is versatile and can be used for group rentals, as a base camp for exploring Oksiz, or for training and environmental education programs.
