Former Kambarajuku Honjin

The Honjin ruin is the site of the Honjin that was in Kambarajuku. Honjin are quarters that were placed in each post town, and they were used by daimyos that travelled to Tokaido during Sankin-Kotai (system of "alternate attendance" by a daimyo in Edo).
