Kunozan Toshogu stone steps

It is a stone stairway that starts from the stone Torii at the bottom of Mt. Kunozan. Until the ropeway opened in 1957, these stone steps were the only worship path to Tosho-gu. The view from ”Ichi-no-mon” on the 909th step that overlooks the Suruga Bay is spectacular.
