Koi Falls
This waterfall is located along a forest road leading from the hot spring town of Umegashima Onsen, in the headwaters of the Abe River, toward "Abe Pass" on the border with Yamanashi Prefecture. The flow of the waterfall as it cascades down the slope is beautiful. The forest road is closed to vehicles from winter through mid-April, as well as during periods of heavy rain or other adverse weather conditions.

The "Toyooka Umegashima Forest Road," which leads to Koigataki Falls by car, remains closed due to extensive damage caused by a typhoon in October 2019. As there is no timeline for the start of restoration work, it is not possible to reach the falls even on foot.
