SHIZUOKA CITY KANKO NAVI

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Shimizu Port Boat Inn Memorial Hall “Suehiro,” a facility that was restored and relocated from the boat inn originally opened by Jirocho Shimizu at Shimizu Wharf in 1886. In the hope that it will continue to thrive for many years to come, we are holding a performance of the rakugo piece “The Tale of Jirocho Shimizu” as a modest 25th-anniversary event. In addition to a rakugo performance by Mr. Torayasu Hirosawa, the event will also feature a hands-on activity corner.
