Shizuoka City Art Museum

Enjoy art right in the heart of the city!

Located about a 3-minute walk from JR Shizuoka Station, the Shizuoka City Art Museum (commonly known as “Shizubi”) is an urban art museum where visitors can casually enjoy art right in the heart of the city.

Based on the concept of “a slightly interesting urban plaza,” the museum hosts a diverse range of exhibitions featuring art, design, photography, and crafts.

Step inside, and you’ll find a beautiful, white-themed space.

The entrance hall, open to everyone, is bathed in sunlight and is a popular spot for relaxation.

After viewing the exhibits, we recommend lingering at the café or shop to savor the afterglow of the art.

Since the museum is open until 7:00 PM, you can spend a leisurely, elegant evening with art before dinner.
