BANDAI HOBBY CENTER PLAMO DESIGN INDUSTRIAL INSTITUTE MUSEUM

An interactive museum offering a behind-the-scenes look at model kit manufacturing

This new factory, which began operations in 2025 under the concept of a "showcase factory," has captured the attention of plastic model fans around the world.

At the adjacent MUSEUM, visitors can step into the shoes of a plastic model designer and experience the manufacturing process—from planning and design to mold making, molding, and packaging design—via touch panels!

This is a program that fans will love, as they can take home the packaging box they designed themselves.

Highlights include a massive, life-size Gundam monument, an exhibition of over 4,300 plastic models, and live molding demonstrations.

From the museum windows, you can watch actual production processes—such as molding and packaging—taking place inside the new factory, allowing you to experience the appeal of manufacturing up close.

Please enjoy the evolution and technology of plastic models, loved around the world, to your heart’s content.
