Suruga Bay Ferry

This car ferry route has been designated as Shizuoka Prefecture’s first “Marine Prefectural Road No. 223 (Fujisan).” A monument featuring the prefectural road sign is located on the ship’s deck. Passing between Mount Fuji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Miho Pine Grove, a component site of the heritage, the ferry connects Shimizu Port and Toi Port in Nishi-Izu in about 90 minutes one way. With no traffic congestion to worry about, you can enjoy a comfortable boat ride and a relaxing drive through Izu.
