Togetsukō Shibayaji Temple
This temple is associated with Munenaga, a renga poet who served the Imagawa clan. Its borrowed-scenery garden, which skillfully incorporates views of Mount Tenchū and Maruko Fuji, has been designated a National Scenic Spot and Historic Site. The temple is also renowned for its exquisite moonlit scenery, with the moon rising above a bamboo grove modeled after Kyoto’s Higashiyama district.
